Psalm 4
1 Answer me when I call to you,
O my righteous God.
Give me relief from my distress;
be merciful to me and hear my prayer.

2 How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame.
How long will you love delusions and seek false gods.

3 Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself;
the LORD will hear when I call to him.

4 In your anger do not sin;
when you are on your beds,
search your hearts and be silent.

5 Offer right sacrifices
and trust in the LORD.

6 Many are asking, “Who can show us any good?”
Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD.

7 You have filled my heart with greater joy
than when their grain and new wine abound.

8 I will lie down and sleep in peace,
for you alone, O LORD,
make me dwell in safety.

Lord, I ask You to make me…
An Authentic Disciple-Take Romans 12:9-21 and pray over each phrase that God would cause them to be reality in you as you step out in faith.

Lord, I pray for RiverPoint…
Community Transformation-Pray that God will use RiverPoint to see our community transformed as we reach out in love, good deeds and the  Truth.  Pray that we would be so used by God that if our church ceased to exist the surrounding community would mourn.

Lord, I ask You to make me…
Spirit-Filled-Ask God to fill you with His Spirit. Ask Him to cause you to walk in the Spirit, in tune with His leadings.

Lord, I pray for RiverPoint…
Many People-Pray that we  would see people in the droves come to know Jesus for the  first time!
Our Launch Date-Pray that God would bless us and allow us to stay focused & excited about October 21.
Supplies-Pray that God would supply all of our needs for the Kids Environments, Host Team, Multi-Media for the Auditorium, advertising and signage. Pray that our people would be generous in their giving.

3 No one whose hope is in you
will ever be put to shame,
but they will be put to shame
who are treacherous without excuse.

4 Show me your ways, O LORD,
teach me your paths;

5 guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.

6 Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.

7 Remember not the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you are good, O LORD.

8 Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.

9 He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.

10 All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful
for those who keep the demands of his covenant.

11 For the sake of your name, O LORD,
forgive my iniquity, though it is great.

12 Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD ?
He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.

13 He will spend his days in prosperity,
and his descendants will inherit the land.

14 The LORD confides in those who fear him;
he makes his covenant known to them.

15 My eyes are ever on the LORD,
for only he will release my feet from the snare.

16 Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am lonely and afflicted.

17 The troubles of my heart have multiplied;
free me from my anguish.

18 Look upon my affliction and my distress
and take away all my sins.

19 See how my enemies have increased
and how fiercely they hate me!

20 Guard my life and rescue me;
let me not be put to shame,
for I take refuge in you.

21 May integrity and uprightness protect me,
because my hope is in you.

22 Redeem Israel, O God,
from all their troubles!

Compassionate-Ask God to let His tenderness towards you make you tender and compassionate toward others.

Lord, I pray for RiverPoint…
Pray that everything we do would reach out to our community for the purpose of sharing what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Lord, I ask you to make me…
Aware of His power-Ask God to cause you to know the immeasurable greatness of His power toward you who believe.

Lord, I pray for RiverPoint…
Women-Pray for the women of our church to be godly daughters, wives and sisters. Ask God to give them a heart that is passionate for Him and His glory.

Lord, I ask You to make me…
Holy-Ask God to cause you to be set apart from the things that set you apart from God. Ask Him to continually give you distaste for sin and an increased appetite for the things of God.

Lord, I pray for RiverPoint…
Pray for our Student Ministry (grades 6-12). Pray that they will remember to pray for each other this week at school. Pray that they will be different from the other students. Pray for their protection.

Lord, I ask You to make me…
A Doer of  Your Word-Pray that God would cause you to be more than a ready and a listener of the Word of God but that you will actually be able to do the things in the Word.

Lord, I pray for RiverPoint Church…
Pastor Brad-Pray that God might give Pastor Brad the  strength and protection he needs to lead and preach effectively during this season.

Lord, I ask you to make me…
Who I am in Christ-Ask God to help you understand and continually transform you into who He has saved you to be. Ask Him to help you see that in Christ you are unconditionally loved, totally accepted and completely  forgiven by God.

Lord, I pray for RiverPoint Church…
Boldness in sharing our faith-Ask God to give us a boldness to reach out to people far from God and to be bold in sharing our faith through service and truthful words. Pray for someone you know by name (________________) that they will come to know Christ. Pray for the opportunity to invite them to RiverPoint Church.
